The Consultation Suites These suites are the initial contact with the patients and their relatives. For this reason they have been designed to be larger and more comfortable than existing rooms. Each suite will contain a consulting room with an examination room of either side of it. There will be room for the multi-disciplinary team in the consulting room and for relatives as well as the core members of the team in the examination rooms. We have specifically requested that these rooms should not be austere and that they should allow a relaxed atmosphere wherever that is possible.

There will be four suites in the Sir William Rous Unit each comprising of a consulting room and two examination rooms.
